Six Sectors, Six Different Definitions of a Good Bond
A carton sealer and an automotive trim line both ask for adhesive tape. They are not asking for the same thing. Here is what each sector needs and what we specify for it.
What Each Sector Asks For, And What We Specify
| Sector | Primary Requirement | Grade We Usually Specify |
|---|---|---|
| Packaging & Logistics | Seal integrity at line speed | Machine-grade BOPP, 45 - 50 micron |
| Automotive Manufacturing | Vibration and heat resistance | Double-sided tissue, high coat weight |
| Construction | Adhesion on rough, dusty substrates | High-tack BOPP, heavy coat weight |
| Electrical & Electronics | Residue-free removal, tight tolerance | Precision-slit tissue tape |
| Furniture & Interiors | Invisible bonding on laminates | Double-sided tissue, hand tearable |
| Retail & E-Commerce | Branding plus tamper evidence | Custom printed BOPP, 42 - 48 micron |
These are starting points, not fixed rules. The final grade depends on your substrate, load and application temperature - which is why every enquiry starts with a question rather than a price list.

What One Industry Learns, Another Usually Needs
The high coat weight that solved a dusty recycled-board problem for a logistics customer is the same answer a construction site needs on a rough substrate. Supplying six sectors from one plant means the fix for your application has often already been proven somewhere else.
